Get ready to see another intense Kasai match when Gordon Ryan goes up against Joao Rocha on February 2.
Kasai has revealed that the two will grapple it out in Dallas in what the promotion is calling a “Super Series” event.
While this will be Rocha’s first time competing at Kasai, Ryan’s last appearance led to him defeating Yuri Simoes by rear naked choke. Both competitors IBJJF Pan events this year, with Rocha taking home gold in the gi event and Ryan winning his division and the open weight division in the no-gi competition.
Not many details have been released on the card that Ryan and Rocha will be competing on, but with such an exciting match being announced right off the bat, there’s no telling what will come next.
The Kasai Super Series will take place on February 2, 2019 at the Bomb Factory Dallas.
