Polaris Veteran Jeremy Skinner Discusses Being A Vegetarian As A High-Level Grappler

If you haven’t started following Jeremy Skinner‘s career yet, now’s the time to start. The Australian brown belt who trains out of Absolute MMA (a.k.a. That Gym where Craig Jones, Livia Giles, and Lachlan Giles also hail from) is one of jiu-jitsu’s quickly rising stars. Skinner won his Polaris debut, then defeated Renzo Gracie’s Frank Rosenthal at GrappleFest last month, adding to the numerous accomplishments he’s already claimed so far in his BJJ career.

Over the weekend, Skinner won the <77kg championship title at the Australian Grappling Championships (AGC) for the third time, and after the dust had settled, the Jiu-Jitsu Times sat down with him to discuss his vegetarian lifestyle (and how it impacts his jiu-jitsu) and what he believes sets Absolute MMA apart as an elite BJJ academy:
