After a devastating TKO loss to Carlos Diego Ferreira, Jared Gordon told BloodyElbow.com that he “nearly lost three fingers” in a gang related altercation in Queens, NY last December.
While Gordon himself has no affiliations with gang members, the trouble found him outside of a barber shop in the middle of the day. In the video, you can see Gordon talking with two other men when they are suddenly confronted by two other men wearing hooded jackets. The punches fly from there, but it’s easy to tell who has training as Gordon and his friend make short work of the aggressors.
