Caio Terra Association brown belt Mason Fowler has taken home another big win, this time at the 2020 IBJJF Pans.
Fowler, who has recently made waves by earning and then defending his Submission Underground championship title against the likes of Craig Jones and Vinny Magalhaes, brought home gold in the super-heavyweight division, defeating Legion’s J. Breylor Grout to earn the honor. He then went on to compete in the absolute division, where he earned silver after being defeated by lightweight division champ Andy Murasaki.
This was Fowler’s first time competing in the gi in a year and a half.
Fowler has also collected big wins at ADCC Trials, Worlds, and No-Gi Worlds in the past.
