Abu Dhabi World Pro Rescheduled For February 2021

The Abu Dhabi World Pro was one of the first major jiu-jitsu events to be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic earlier this year, with the UAEJJF canceling or postponing all of its events until further notice. In August, the organization announced that the World Pro would be rescheduled for November. However, with many countries still under tight restrictions due to the pandemic, the UAEJJF decided to push the event back an additional few months.

Now, a new date for the event, and we can (hopefully) expect to see some of the best jiu-jitsu in the world early next year.

The UAEJJF shared today that the Abu Dhabi World Pro will now be taking place from February 23-27, 2021, saying that the decision was made “to ensure athletes from across the globe get a fair opportunity to participate and win.”
