ACB JJ 7 World Grand-Prix 75 Kg Bracket


Absolute Championship Berkut Jiu-Jitsu has rapidly become one of the most respected and high profile jiu-jitsu tournaments in world. Currently undergoing expansion, this event will host nearly 12 various gi and no-gi events in different weight divisions. Eight of the following fighters will fight for the championship.

Arbi Muradov

Arbi Muradov, 27, is a top fighter and has been among the best in the Belgian jiu-jitsu tournament scene for a couple of years now. A BJJ black belt under Felipe Costa, he comes from Chechenya and has managed to grab the following titles under his name:

  • Black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu
  • Master of wrestling
  • Champion of the Chechen Republic.

Marcio Andre

Andre comes from Brazil,where he holds a black belt in jiu-jitsu. His record speaks for him:

  • IBJJF World Champion (2014 brown, 2013 & 2012 purple, 2011 blue)
  • UAEJJF World Pro Champion (2016 black, 2014 brown, 2013 purple)
  • IBJJF World No-Gi Champion (2016 black, 2013 brown)
  • IBJJF Pan American Champion (2013 purple)

Rodrigo Caporal

Rodrigo Caporal is also Brazilian and earned his black belt under Ramon Lemos. Take a look at some of his accomplishments:

Marcelo Mafra

Yet another Brazilian, this welterweight fighter has the following accomplishments:

Davi Ramos

Another strong competitor is Davi Ramos, who trained under Master “Casquinha”, the founder of the Top Brothers Academy and son of Carlson Gracie black belt Walter Guimaraes. His record shows that he’s looking for a way to the very top.

Luan Carvalho

Luan Carvalho is also a name many viewers cannot forget easily. The Brazilian has been proclained Brazil’s New Lightweight Prodigy.

Edwin Najmi

Najmi grew up training as a wrestler and is now in the lightweight division. He earned his black belt under Romulo Barral and has picked up the following victories:

  • IBJJF World Champion (2015 brown, 2014 purple)
  • ACBJJ LW Grand Prix Champion (2017)
  • IBJJF European Open Champion (2015 brown)
  • IBJJF Pan American Champion (2016 black, 2015 brown, 2014 purple, 2012 blue)

Thiago Abreu

Abrew became a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Rodrigo Cavaca. The man has picked up medals in some of the grappling world’s biggest events:

  • World No-Gi Champion (2009 brown weight & absolute, 2014)
  • Brazilian National Champion (2009 purple)
  • Sao Paulo Open Champion (2015, 2014)
