2015 ADCC Champion and multiple-time IBJJF World Champion Rodolfo Vieira is reportedly getting back into the Octagon on July 17, and this time, he’ll be going up against Dustin Stoltzfus.
A location for the event has yet to be announced.
The promotion hasn’t officially announced the fight yet, but multiple sources confirmed the matchup to MMA Fighting.
After finishing all seven of the first fights of his professional MMA career, Vieira ended up on the losing end of a huge upset when he was submitted by Anthony Hernandez in February’s UFC 258. This will be his first fight since the shocking loss and his fourth for the UFC since he joined the promotion in 2019.
Stoltzfus is also coming off a fight that snapped a long (ten-fight) winning streak. He’ll be competing in his second fight for the UFC after earning a contract with the promotion through Dana White’s Contender Series back in August. His most recent fight, which took place in November, ended in a decision loss to Kyle Daukaus.
