Remember that time Joel Kinnaman showed off some pretty kickass BJJ fight choreography? (Seriously, click that link. It’s probably the only multiple attacker BJJ fantasy scenario you’ll get all month.) Well now the Altered Carbon and House of Cards leading man has leveled up his off-screen badass credentials with an official blue belt promotion.
Kinnaman was promoted by Rigan Machado yesterday. No word yet on whether he’ll handle the advancement to faixa azul by quitting jiu-jitsu forever, but we’re encouraged to see his use of the #BJJforLife tag. Keep at it, brother.
