UFC veterans Antonio Silva and Gabriel Gonzaga are set to make their bare-knuckle boxing debut at BKFC 8 this October.
“I am very excited to have these two legends competing in the BKFC squared circle,” BKFC David Feldman aid in a recent press release. “They have fought and beat some of the best fighters in the world and now they will fight each other.”
Both fighters have been away from the octagon for some time, Silva not having an MMA fight since 2017 and Gonzaga since 2018 after coming out of retirement. Gonzaga, however, has already ventured into the world of traditional boxing, having won his first professional match back in 2017.
The event will take place in Tampa, Florida on October 8. More fights on the card to be announced.
