The night began with an RNC by Maria Henderson in just :40 seconds, securing a victory for her Bellator debut. Her husband, Benson Henderson, was sitting cage-side as he awaited his main card bout, but later lost his match by unanimous decision against Brent Primus while showcasing some smooth grappling himself.

The main-events of the night showcased Bellator’s top 4 Light Heavyweights in the Bellator Light Heavyweight World Grand Prix as they fought to move on to the next round of the $1million contest.

First Corey Anderson made quick work of Ryan Bader, landing a TKO finish in just :51 seconds. After that, Vadim Nemkov battled Julius Anglickas for 3 rounds before securing a blood-soaked Kimura finish in round 4, successfully retaining his Championship title. Nemkov and Anderson advance to the final round of the Light Heavyweight World Grand Prix and will fight for the $1million grand prize. The fight date has yet to be announced.
