ONE Championship Welterweight Champion “Funky” Ben Askren is set to trade in his gloves for a cushy executive position at ONE. But before he does, he will take on one of the top fighters the Asian MMA promotion has ever had, Shinya Aoki.
The news was announced by ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong only an hour before the time of this writing:

The fight will take place in Singapore on November 24. It will also feature a rematch between Mei “V.V” Yamaguchi and reigning Women’s Atomweight Champion Angela Lee.
Ben Askren is currently riding a 17-0 no-loss streak. He is a former Bellator Champion, defending his title four times before moving to ONE, where he won the championship back in 2014. He has defended his title three times since then.
