Bianca Basilio can now add the title of “ADCC Champion” to her long list of accomplishments following a quick, action-packed match with Ffion Davies.
The competitors were fast to engage, with both of them working for leg locks early on. Davies went for a heel hook that seemed like it might finish the match, but Basilio was able to disentangle herself and escape. Then, Basilio was the one to go for Davies’ legs, eventually securing a toehold that Davies tapped to. Davies, injured, was taken out of the arena in a wheelchair.
