FTW Pro Competitor’s Neck Badly Injured After Opponent Tried To Jump Escape Out Of Triangle


Fight To Win Pro competitor Joshua Hahm suffered a serious neck injury recently that forced him to be hospitalized. Hahm had his opponent in a triangle choke. The opponent stood up, then jumped down on Hahm, injuring the young man’s neck.

Joshua’s relative Thomas Hahm posted a picture of Joshua at the hospital. The young BJJ competitor appears to be in serious condition.  Thomas thanked everyone for their prayers for Joshua.

Thank you for those who are praying for Joshua… His neck was injured and you can see in the video his neck was snapped weird way.. He was carried thru ambulance to ER and we are still waiting.. As of now he still can’t feel anything so please keep him in your prayers to have his senses back soon! It’s a worst feeling as a parent to see your child in so much pain and it’s up to God to heal him.. Thank you again for your prayers!

Based on his Facebook profile, Hahm is a passionate BJJ competitor and has competed at big tournaments such as NAGA and the Pan-Ams.

He fought on Fight To Win Pro 22 and 27.

  1. I think it should be noted that this did not happen at a Fight 2 Win Pro event. This happened at an independent tournament with an organization that has a history of these things happening.
