Last night at ONE Championship‘s “ONE on TNT IV” event, Colbey Northcutt made a big impression during her sophomore fight for the promotion when she went up against Courtney Martin.
Martin kicked things off by forcing Northcutt against the cage in the clinch, ultimately managing to bring her to the ground and landing in top half-guard. Northcutt successfully defending Martin’s knee cut pass attempt and brought the fight back to the feet, forcing Martin’s back against the fence. The fighters went back to the ground with Martin on top, and Northcutt was able to capitalize on the position and attack the armbar from the guard. After a few adjustments, Martin toppled over, and Northcutt got the angle and leverage she needed to finish the submission at 2:28 in the first round.

The win boosted Northcutt’s record to 2-1, with both of her wins coming in the ONE Championship cage.
Northcutt’s brother, Sage, also competes for ONE Championship and is known for his record as an accomplished kickboxer.
