Eddie Cummings has now confirmed rumors that he’s joined the Unity team by responding to a fan’s Instagram comment on one of this posts.
Cummings was once a member of the Renzo Gracie Academy in NYC and was a part of the original “Danaher Death Squad,” but ultimately left and continued training with EBI 15 champion Jon Calestine at Renzo Gracie Fight Academy in Brooklyn. John Danaher has publicly said that the two competitors had left over their desire to avoid competing against their teammates.
Rumors have recently swirled that Cummings had been training at and had possibly even joined the Unity team (which is the same team that the Miyao brothers hail from), and a couple days ago, Cummings appeared to confirm them when a fan commented on his most recent Instagram post.
Might we see the “Wolverine” competing under the Unity banner sometime soon? Only time will tell.
