Eddie Cummings is one of jiu-jitsu’s most technical and skilled competitors, but in recent years, seeing him in action is a rare treat. Cummings has competed just three times since 2017, winning each of his matches at Fight 2 Win 31 and 56 and then defeating Renato Canuto at Kasai Pro 2 last April. Finally, though, we have an answer to when and where we’ll see him next.

Almost exactly a year since his win at Kasai 2, Cummings will once again take the Fight 2 Win stage, this time at the main event of F2W 108 in Philadelphia, PA. The match will be for the black belt no-gi featherweight title, which Cummings currently holds. Tac Team’s William Wolk will serve as his challenger.

Cummings will be one of many elite-level grapplers on this card. F2W has stacked this card with multiple title matches between some of the best BJJ athletes in the world. Competing for the heavyweight black belt gi title will be 2018 ADCC East Coast Trials winner Aaron “Tex” Johnson and multiple-time F2W victor Gutemberg Pereira. The strawweight black belt gi title will go to the winner of a match between multiple-time No-Gi World Champion Pati Fontes and 2019 Pans champion Mayssa Bastos. The masters division will also get to shine in a masters welterweight gi title match between Daniel Tavares and the winner of the Alexandre “Pulga” Pimentel vs. Rafael “Formiga” Barbosa match at F2W 106.

In the brown belt category, 2019 ADCC West Coast Trials winner Amanda Leve will face the runner-up in her category, Maggie Grindatti, for the welterweight no-gi title. EBI veteran John Battle will be going up against Daniel Maria for the lightweight no-gi title, and Alex Yablong will face Jack Tankersley for the male welterweight gi title.

Even the purple belts will have titles on the line. Nick Rodriguez — who is technically only a blue belt, but won the ADCC West Coast Trials earlier this year — will go up against Walker Madden for the super heavyweight no-gi title. Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu’s Natalie Boss, meanwhile, will face Pellegrino MMA’s Andrea Jordan for the flyweight purple belt gi title.

F2W 108 will take place on April 12 in Philadelphia, PA. If you can’t see it in person, you can stream it live on FloGrappling.
