Former UFC fighter Gerald Strebendt has been arrested for sexually abusing an underaged girl.
According to The Register-Guard, he was coaching the girl he was sexually abusing, and police are concerned he may have abused other children. They are asking anyone with information to call 541-682-5147
This is not Strebendt’s first serious run-in with the law. In 2014, the former UFC fighter used a semiautomatic rifle to kill a man. He was originally charged with murder, but the charge was later dropped to criminally negligent homicide with a firearm. Strebendt was released last year from state prison.
Gerald Strebendt holds a record of 9-7 in MMA. His one UFC fight was against Josh Thompson. He lost via first-round knockout.
