Frank Mir is out of his fight against Bellator contender and former UFC championship contender Chael Sonnen at the ADCC Championships in Finland.
The news was announced earlier today on Flograppling. Flograppling did not list a reason for Mir dropping out.
However, Chael will still be competing at the world-famous grappling event, this time against one of the legends in art of BJJ — ADCC and IBJJF Champion Leo Vieira.
Considering Sonnen has already had two opponents drop out of his fight at the ADCC Finland event, let’s hope Vieira stays in.
The fight will be going down on September 24 in Helsinki.
