It appears that Gordon Ryan will be making an appearance at Quintet 3 after all. Earlier today, Quintet announced that Ryan would replace Kelly Anundson on Team Alpha Male for the upcoming event. Anundson was forced to withdraw from the competition due to a rib injury.
Gordon isn’t the only Ryan brother who will be competing at the event; his younger brother Nicky will be competing against Hideo Tokoro in what the promotion calls a “Special Single Match.”
Gordon, who recently won double gold at Pans, now has the chance for a rematch against previous high-level opponents PJ Barch (Team 10th Planet) and Craig Jones (Team Polaris).
Quintet 3 goes down on October 5 in Las Vegas.
