IBJJF Pan Ams 2020 Is Back In October In Orlando Florida

IBJJF has just announced that the registration for IBJJF Pan Ams 2020 is now open.

The IBJJF shared a post with the news, adding that points will not be required to compete and there will be no spectators permitted:

“We are very happy to announce that registration is now available for the Pan Championship 2020.⁠
Date: October 8*, 9*, 10, 11.⁠
Early Registration Deadline: Sep 2nd⁠
Final Registration Deadline: Sep. 28th⁠
Location: Silver Spur Arena – Orlando – FL⁠

Pre Schedule will be posted soon.⁠
Points are NOT required.⁠
Limited spots available.⁠
Limited occupancy. No spectators allowed. ⁠
Competitors can only enter the venue on the day they are competing. ⁠
Competitors can bring one companion only.⁠
Schedule will be done with extra time in between divisions.⁠
Mats will be mopped and barricades wiped down every hour. ⁠
Face covering required at all times.⁠
Staff to wear mask and face shield.

Pans was originally canceled in March following the initial international spread of COVID-19 and was soon followed by virtually every other IBJJF event in the United States and abroad. The event is normally held in California, but will now be held in Florida, where more COVID-based restrictions have been lifted.
