The hits the the grappling world keep on coming well into the second wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Late yesterday evening, the IBJJF announced that the 2020 American Nationals would be forced to move to a new location. According to the announcement post on Instagram, guidelines set by the Dallas County Health Department would not allow the tournament to be held in the original venue.
The event is not canceled, and will now be held at the NYTEX Sports Centre 8851 Ice House Dr, North Richland Hills, TX 76180.
As of December 3, Dallas county has has over 130,000 confirmed covid cases and 1,224 deaths. 4,907 of confirmed cases since Nov. 1 were school aged children, according to the Dallas County Health Department website.
