The rematch between UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington is now in the works.
ESPN was the first to report that Usman vs. Covington 2 will serve as the main event for a November pay-per-view card. A venue and specific date for the event have not yet been shared.

Usman and Covington first met in the octagon in 2019 in a Fight of the Night performance, where Usman finished Covington at just past four minutes into the fifth round with a TKO. The loss snapped a seven-fight winning streak for Covington, who put himself back in the win column with a TKO against Tyron Woodley in September of last year.
Usman hasn’t lost a fight since 2013 and is currently on an eighteen-fight winning streak. He claimed the welterweight title in 2019 and went on to defend it four times since then, most recently defeating Jorge Masvidal back in March.
