After a three-and-a-half year layoff, jiu-jitsu phenom Kron Gracie will officially be making his return to the Octagon at UFC 288 on May 6, per Nolan King. The son of reportedly undefeated combat sports legend Rickson Gracie, Kron is slated to face off against Charles Jourdain, who’s currently looking to make a comeback after back-to-back decision losses against Nathaniel Wood and Shane Burgos.
Kron will also be returning off a decision loss, to UFC veteran Cub Swanson from back in 2019. Kron, who was undefeated in MMA prior to the loss to Swanson, will no doubt be looking for a redemption arc of his own. Whether the cage rust accumulated since 2019 will affect his performance remains to be seen.
