Mackenzie Dern — MMA fighter, multiple-time World Champion, and one of the most famous athletes in Brazilian jiu-jitsu — is moving up in weight in mixed martial arts.
Dern, who has been fighting for Legacy Fighting Alliance (formerly Legacy Fighting Championship) and is currently riding a 3-0 win streak, will be moving up to Flyweight.
The news was released to MMA Junkie earlier today.
Dern’s match will be going down on October 13. It will once again be for Legacy.
In a Instagram post, Mackenzie Dern said she was excited for her fight and glad for all of the support she has received.
