Multiple-time World Champion Mackenzie Dern – one of the most famous names in women’s competitive BJJ – has been forced out of the Abu Dhabi World Pro tournament.
According to Flograppling, tournament organizers said Dern could not make weight. Her original opponent, Amal Amjahid, will now move up in the brackets.
Mackenzie Dern has not said anything yet on social media about being removed from the tournament.
