After scoring a first-round submission at ONE: Revolution, Buchecha is wasting no time on making his next MMA appearance.
The jiu-jitsu specialist made the announcement in a post on instagram,
“In 7 weeks I’ll be be back inside the @onechampionship circle!
What a ride, let’s do it together #TEAMWORK
“If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself.â€â€œ
While the fighter didn’t specifically say the bout would be at ONE: X, the 7 weeks notice puts us right at December 5, just in time for the event in Singapore.
This will give him just about 10 weeks of down-time from his previous fight on September 24 against fellow ONE fighter Anderson Silva. Just days after his victory, he made it known that he wanted to return at ONE: X.
The Heavyeeight’s opponent has not yet been announced.
ONE: X takes place on Sunday, December 5 at 8:30 p.m. SGT.
