MMA Fighter Murdered, Police Suspect 11th Grade Female Behind It

MMA Fighter Aaron Rajman, was murdered in West Boca, Florida, on July 3, and detectives suspect 16-year-old Summer Church was “the mastermind” behind it.

Church was picked up on her way to school and was charged with homicide, robbery, and home invasion with a firearm.  Roberto Ortiz and Jace Swinton, both 18, were also booked.

According to police, two “unknown males” went into Rajman’s home and tried to rob him. There was an altercation, and Rajman was shot.

Church’s mother, Judi, however, believes her daughter is innocent. Summer and Rajman were friends, according to Judi, and the group of men used her to get close to the MMA fighter. The mother also says Summer wasn’t in the car when the murder happened.

No news yet on when the accused will stand trial.

Rajman was only 25 when he was murdered. His death was mourned by friends, family, and members of the MMA community such as UFC strawweight Tecia Torres, who wrote:

A beautiful soul was taken too soon. Today I have a heavy heart with the passing of my friend. I remember when Aaron went out to NC with me and was my only corner at the end of my amateur career. Shortly after I fought on one of his own mma shows and become the #1 amateur fighter at 115. Thank you Aaron for sharing those special moments. I hope this weekend to make you smile and get the W for you. Miss you bud.
