Former UFC fan favorite Nate Diaz will officially be donning boxing gloves to take on YouTube star Jake Paul in an eight-round 185-pound showdown in Dallas on August 5, per Ariel Helwani. The bout will be available to view via DAZN PPV.
In an Instagram post published on his personal account, Jake Paul wrote, “August 5th we commemorate the funeral for Nathaniel Diaz as we send him in casket back to Dana. Refreshments will be provided at the service. Black Tie Attire.”
Paul’s last tango with a UFC retiree — a habit he’s quickly become notorious for — resulted in a decision victory over 47-year-old UFC legend Anderson Silva in October 2022.
