Another big matchup is coming to the Fight 2 Win stage, and you won’t want to miss this one.

F2W CEO Seth Daniels has announced that Nicholas Meregali will face off against Erberth Santos in the main event at Fight 2 Win 130, which takes place in Denver. The match will be for the heavyweight title.

Meregali, an IBJJF World Champion and two-time Brazilian Nationals champion, most recently competed at 3rd Coast Grappling, where he won his superfight against Roberto “Cyborg” Abreu. He’s demonstrated his growth as an athlete this year, defeating both Leandro Lo and 2019 ADCC champion Kaynan Duarte, and defeating Santos would be a huge statement to make for his Fight 2 Win debut.

Santos, also a World Champion, will be returning to the F2W stage after defeating Gutemberg Pereira via ref decision at F2W 111. Santos is a controversial competitor, from his infamous violent outburst during his match with Felipe Pena at BJJ Stars to the seemingly random verbal taps he’s given during multiple matches, but Daniels has previously defended his decision to use him in F2W events, saying that Santos’ skillset alone had earned him a place on the cards. Whether or not he’ll be able to pull off a win against the dominant Meregali, however, remains to be seen.

Fight 2 Win 130 will take place in Denver, CO, on November 2 and will be streamed live on FloGrappling.
