Patrick Côté Retires From MMA

One of the biggest names in MMA from Quebec has decided to call it quits.

Former Maximum Fighting Champion and longtime UFC contender Patrick Côté has quit MMA.

After putting on a spectacular, but losing performance to Thiago Alves, the 37-year-old Quebecois dropped his gloves in the middle of the cage, thanked the UFC and its fans, and ended his 15-year MMA career.

Côté will retire with a 23-11 professional record. He is a Fight of the Night and two-time Knockout of the Night winner. He is also notable for being The Ultimate Fighter 4 Finalist.

We here at the Jiu-Jitsu Times salute you, Patrick Côté, for a spectacular MMA performance!
