Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey hosting the Jan. 23 edition of ‘Saturday Night Live, the musical guest will be Selena Gomez. Rousey will be the first MMA personality, male or female, to host the long running comedy series and it will be her first major public appearance since losing the women’s bantamweight belt to Holly Holm at UFC 193. Rousey is also preparing for a few movie roles as well, starring as the female lead in the Road House reboot and she will be shooting a biopic on her own life, based on her My Fight/Your Fight autobiography. Rousey is also rumored to be getting her highly anticipated rematch against Holm for the championship she lost at UFC 200 this coming July. Rousey continues to be a woman who has broken through boundaries and whether you like her or not, is a trailblazer in the female sports universe.
