Rose Namajunas (8-3) will once again be defending her strawweight title belt later this year, this time against Jessica Andrade (19-6). ESPN reported the news of the fight.

Although a specific location for the bout hasn’t been announced yet, Dana White has confirmed that the fight will serve as the co-main event for UFC 237, which will take place in Brazil on May 11.

Namajunas first earned the title in 2017 when she defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk in what many considered to be an upset. In April of 2018, she then defended her title against Jedrzejczyk, but has been unable to fight since then due to injury.

Andrade will serve as a worthy opponent for “Thug” Rose. Although she lost her shot at the title by unanimous decision to Jedrzejczyk back in May 2017, she’s won her last three fights and will be hoping to get a fourth win accessorized with a championship belt.
