Fight to Win Pro 77 started off like any normal F2W event, with some of the area’s top jiu-jitsu athletes taking the stage to showcase their skills and win some cash. But that changed when one person in the crowd at the Sacramento, CA event apparently decided it would be wise to talk smack to UFC superstar Nate Diaz.
F2W Pro CEO Seth Daniels detailed the result in a Facebook post:
“so Nate Diaz just whooped a dudes *** in the crowd at f2wpro77…lesson if you are going to talk **** to Nate Diaz he will beat the **** out of you.”
Daniels told the Jiu-Jitsu Times that he helped break up the fight himself and isn’t aware at the moment if there’s video footage. According to him, the cause of the fight was simple: “Guy talked sh*t and got hit.”
Daniels said that after the fight was broken up, both Diaz and his opponent appeared to have left the venue (although he didn’t know for sure, as he was working), and the event continued on as normal.
