Actor Vince Vaughn has earned his Brazilian jiu-jitsu blue belt at Gracie University.
BJJ black belt Rener Gracie — son of Rorion Gracie — posted the pic only hours ago.
Rener told the Jiu-Jitsu Times:
We have many celebrity students, but Vince is by far one of the most committed when it comes to attendance and his appreciation for the beauty of jiu-jitsu.
In his Instagram post, Rener said:
Yesterday, Vince Vaughn earned his blue belt. He began with us in Feb 2016 and he’s been training consistently for 2 years. Occasionally he would need to travel to film a movie, but he always finds a place to train on the road. Vince is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and always takes time to connect with other students on and off the mat. Vaughn is known for his comedies, where he usually plays cynical, sarcastic character. However, he has starred in action movies such as The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
