Almeida does not specialize in any one particular fighting style. He can do stand up, along with takedowns and grappling with no problem. He always comes to win and is a complete, well rounded fighter.

Almeida first competed in ADCC in 2013, where he claimed gold in the +99kg weight class. He is still hungry for more success though, and aims to add to his tally in 2017.
