Undefeated Bellator middleweight and IBJJF World Champion Rafael Lovato Jr has an opponent in mind for next year’s ADCC USA Open in Florida, scheduled to go down next February. That opponent is none other than ADCC American Trials Champion Tom DeBlass.
Lovato posted on Facebook less than an hour ago, saying that he and Tom have a mutual respect for each other and want to face each other on the mats:
Who would be excited for this matchup???!!! @tomdeblass & I️ have a lot of mutual respect & we have been talking for quite sometime about how awesome it would be to step on the mats to face each other at some point. We made a deal at @adccsubmission in Finland that we would do our best to make it happen in 2018 & I️ think the ADCC USA Open in Florida in February would be the perfect time. This would definitely be an exciting match up & one that I️ believe all the fans would really appreciate.
