Edwin Najmi has publicly reported that he will not be going to Guam for his next big fight at the Marianas Open. This news comes after he received an injury last weekend at the Abu Dhabi World Pro competition. Najmi expressed that he is disappointed, yet wants to get plenty of rest in order to be healthy for the Worlds event. He hopes to make it to Guam by next year.

Edwin Najmi: Apologies to everyone in Guam. I got hurt last weekend at the world pro and won’t be able to compete & make the trip. I’m super bummed, but my health for the worlds is the most important thing for me right now. Hope I can make it to island sometime later this year
