Cris Cyborg knows that they only way to prepare for a champion is to prepare with a champion.
That is why she is preparing for her fight against former UFC Bantamweight Champion and former boxing champion Holly Holm by training with five-time boxing champion Mia St. John. Mia is a World Boxing Council Super Welterweight Champion as well as an IBA and IFBA Champion Lightweight Champion. She holds a 49-14 record in boxing, and 16 of her wins have come by way of knockout. She also competed in the mixed martial arts organization X-1 Champions, winning her debut and only match via first-round knockout.
Cyborg — the reigning UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion — is set to make her first title defense against Holm on December 30 in the main event of UFC 219.
