After an outstanding season opener event in Tokyo, on July 15, the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu World Tour travels to the USA for the second leg of the 2017/2018 season. Beautiful Los Angeles will host the Tour on September 23-24, when some of the best Jiu-Jitsu competitors in the world will battle for their share of over $125,000 in prizes as well as valuable points in the UAEJJF world ranking.

The deadline for early registration at a lower cost is quickly approaching. Athletes have until August 22 to sign up and pay less. The final deadline for registration is September 19. Click here to register now!

For the third season, the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu World Tour continues to take the sport to a new level of professionalism. With events in five of the most important cities in the Jiu-Jitsu universe, the Grand Slam is quickly becoming one of the highlights of the annual calendar.

For Los Angeles, big names are already confirmed to compete at the LA Convention Center. The list of well known black belts includes Alexander Trans, Adam Wardzinski, Alex Alducin, Rodnei Junior, Ana Carolina Schimidt, among others.

About the UAEJJF

With the support and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation was established in November 2012 as the official authority for Jiu-Jitsu in the UAE.

The Federation plays a leading role in supporting Jiu-Jitsu and contributing to building a strong generation of UAE athletes to excel at the local and international levels. The Federation’s role is to implement policies that develop the sport in collaboration with various government entities, educational institutions and other partners in order to advance the sport locally, regionally and globally.
