Anthony Pettis Announces Departure From The UFC To “Explore Free Agency”

Former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis has announced that he is parting ways with the company after over a decade.

The announcement comes just days after Pettis completed the final fight on his UFC contract, defeating Alex Morono via decision. He says he will now be a free agent after spending the last eleven years fighting for the WEC (which went defunct in 2010) and UFC.
