Only 39 seconds into the first round, Gabriel Benitez knocked out Humberto Bandenay with a brutal slam. Bandenay was initially knocked down by a hard strike, and tried to capitalize on an armbar. Benitez immediately stood for the slam, and Bandenay paid the price. It took several minutes for him to recover consciousness.
