Conor McGregor: ‘If I Wrap Around His Neck And Strangle Him, He Will Be Asleep In Two Seconds On The Canvas Of That Ring’

UFC Lightweight Champion “The Notorious” Conor McGregor has a warning for his soon-to-be boxing opponent, Floyd “Money” Mayweather: respect me, or might get strangled. .

“Now look, as long he’s nice and quiet and respectful, I’ll follow the Marquis of Queensbury rules,” Conor told reporters at the McGregor-Mayweather press conference. “If he doesn’t, if his head dips down low, I must just wrap it up in a strangle. You know, it takes three seconds to sleep a man from a strangle. An untrained neck not used to it, it takes two seconds. So, if I wrap around his neck and strangle him, he will be asleep within two seconds on the canvas in that ring. That’s quicker than it will take you to jump into the ring. So, be very very respectful with how you speak my name.”

Conor McGregor will be going toe-to-toe with the undefeated Mayweather on August 26. The match will be available on Showtime pay-per-view.
