Jake Paul Knocks Out Nate Robinson Before Mike Tyson Vs. Roy Jones Jr. Bout

YouTube star Jake Paul faced off with NBA veteran Nate Robinson in the very last fight before Mike Tyson’s exhibition faceoff with Roy Jones Jr.

While the bout had the potential to go six rounds, Paul didn’t even need two to cement his win against Robinson, who was making his pro debut in the ring.

Round one looked more like a light MMA fight than a boxing match, with the referee having to separate the fighters repeatedly for clinching up. Still, both Robinson and Paul came forward aggressively with combos, and Paul managed to catch Robinson in the head and knock him down. He managed to shake it off and came forward again, but was again knocked down by Paul toward the end of the round. While Robinson was down, he wasn’t out, and he was able to continue onto the next round.

Round two was much of the same we saw from round one, and Paul knocked Robinson to the ground for the first time with about two minutes left in the round. Not long after Robinson got back to his feet, he charged forward and got caught with a right hand on the side of the head. Robinson fell face forward into the mat, having been knocked out at a minute and 35 seconds into the second round.

Jake Paul was declared the winner and improved his record to 2-0.
