It’s official! Up-and-comer Craig Jones is not longer an up-and-comer — he is a force to be reckoned with!
Jones took on former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion and former UFC title contender Jake Shields for the first ever Polaris Middleweight Championship.
And if you blinked, you missed the match.
The two shook hands and Jones sat to guard immediately and went for the Z guard. Jones then inverted immediately and went for the legs, got the inside heel hook, and tapped Shields!
And just like that, Jones became king of the Polaris Middleweight mountain.
