Dan Henderson Vs Kazushi Sakuraba Grappling Super-Match At Rizin On Oct 15

Henderson, who is the former UFC title challenger, will be competing against the mixed martial arts discoverer Kazushi Sakuraba. They will be competing in a grappling match which will be taking place live from Marine Messe Fukuoka in Fukuoka on October 15 as announced by the promotional officials.

Henderson retired from the MMA in 0ctober 2016 after losing the middleweight title to Michael Bisping who is the current UFC champion. He later competed in a grappling match against UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones which took place at Chael Sonnen’s Submission Underground.

On the other hand, Kazushi Sakuraba last competed in 2015 in a battle against Shinya Aoki at Rizin FF’s debut even and recently he was introduced in the UFC HALL of Fame regardless of the fact that he has only fought once in the Octagon.

The Rizin FF 7 event will also be featuring four opening-round fights featuring bantamweight World Grand Prix. It is yet to be known on how many rounds the match against Henderson vs. Sakuraba will be, the weight they will compete at or the exact rules of the game.
