The Eddie Bravo Invitational is advertising the presence of four big-name contenders at EBI 20: The Absolutes via their official Instagram account. B-Team star Nicky Rod, along with fellow ADCC 2022 alumni Haisam Rida, Kyle Boehm, and Giancarlo Bodoni, will all be making an appearance at the October 23 event in El Paso, Texas.
We saw some crowd-pleasing performances from this crop of athletes only a few weeks ago during one of the most talent-stacked ADCC tournaments in the history of the event, with Giancarlo Bodoni fighting his way through a massively tough bracket to claim his -88kg crown, and Haisam Rida submitting Roberto “Cyborg” Abreu in under two minutes in a performance that had crowds roaring. With a $50,000 grand prize on the line, no doubt these four will put on yet another show worth tuning into.
For those interested in attending the event live at Speaking Rock Entertainment Center, according to the EBI Instagram announcement, general admission will be free of charge, first come, first served – while VIP tables go on sale in the first week of October.
