Portland’s Fight 2 Win 114 is set to have one of the most stacked women’s cards in the promotion’s history, according to the promotion’s CEO Seth Daniels.

Daniels first announced that MMA fighter and two-time ADCC champion Gabi Garcia would be making her debut for the promotion, later revealing that she’d be going up against Portland local and first-degree black belt Hilary VanOrnum. Garcia and VanOrnum stood on the same podium together at Pans this year, but have never competed against each other. Their match will be for the heavyweight gi title.

Also making her debut at this event will be Claudia do Val, who will be facing Thamara Silva in a 73kg match. Do Val is a multiple-time World Champion and has an extensive list of IBJJF titles to her name. Silva, another accomplished black belt, won gold at the UAEJJF World Pro just a couple weeks ago.

The third biggest female match on the card will be between Ffion Davies and Catherine Perret. Davies earned her black belt at the end of last year, but has already made herself known as one of the athletes to beat in any competition she enters, having won No-Gi Worlds last year and earning silver at this year’s UAEJJF World Pro. Perret is a multiple-time No-Gi World Champion and won No-Gi Pans in 2018. Davies vs. Perret will be a no-gi title bantamweight title match.

Two other matches will also be of particular interest on the card: Hiago George will face Baret Yoshida, and 10th Planet’s Nathan Orchard will go up against Dustin Akbari.

Fight 2 Win 114 will take place in Portland, Oregon on June 7.
