A guy illegally streamed UFC 218 by pretending it was a video game.
It was pretty creative and simple to do, too. He just overlaid a video of himself holding a controller and reacting to the action in the fights as if he was playing a game.
The UFC is notorious for going after people who stream its events illegally — rightly so, considering it can lose millions in pay-per-view buys thanks to illegal streamers. This not only takes money out of Dana White’s pocket, but the fighters and lower level employees’ pockets as well.
Still, you have to hand it to the guy in this video. This was not only pretty funny, but pretty cool!
