Here’s Why The Fight Between Tara LaRosa And The Internet ‘Troll’ Was Cancelled In The First Place

As many of you know, the fight between Tara LaRosa and the Internet “troll,” which was supposed to go down live on the Facebook page Mcdojolife, was cancelled after the state athletic commission shut it down.

Well, it turns out they were lied to — by the police, of all people — according to Mcdojolife.

“We actually were lied to by the police,” Mcdojolife told the Jiu-Jitsu Times via Facebook private message. “We had a reporter tell us that neither the cops nor the athletic commission cared at all. They apparently didn’t even know about it.”

However, the fight will still be going down. It will be recorded, then posted on Mcdojolife’s Facebook page.

  1. This is definitely never happening. Reminds me of an old saying they have in Texas. Maybe it’s in Texas, it’s definitely in Tennessee. Fool me once, shame on… shame on you. Fool me twice… well, fool me, can’t get fooled again.

  2. This article makes zero sense.

The cops lied? About what? The reporter said the cops didn’t care. Was the reporter wrong? What did the cops care about? How does the local PD have jurisdiction over a sparring match at a private gym?

    Why was it cancelled?
