Here’s Why Parents Need To Stop Coaching Their Kids During BJJ Class

The social skills children learn in their BJJ class help them to learn to fit in better in school.

Okay, I have to admit, as a parent, I am totally guilty of this.  When my son is at martial arts practice, I am always there on the sidelines reminding him to keep his hands up, pay attention, and remember what the instructor just told him.

I’m not the only one, either. I see other parents doing this all of the time.

But maybe we parents need to learn to shut our mouths and let the coach and her assistants do their job.
